This shortcode allows you to change the primary domain of a specific site installed on your server. This is different from adding an alias to your site, as this changes the install name, primary domain name, SFTP users and directories.
Prerequisite: The new primary domain has to be installed as an alias before it can become a primary domain.

Shortcode usage format:
- sudo nodalio sitechangeprimary primary.com newprimary.com.
Shortcode reference:
- primary.com – your site’s primary domain/subdomain.
- newprimary.com – your site’s new primary domain / subdomain.
Before changing the primary domain of a site on your server, it is recommended to take a snapshot of the site, just in case you need to restore it later. To find out more about snapshots, click here.
This modification usually takes less than 1 minute to complete, Once the site’s primary domain has been modified, an email confirming the modification will be sent to the server admin email.
Please note: this shortcode performs a complete search and replace of any references of primary.com and replaces them with newprimary.com.
The server admin email is the email you entered when creating the server / the first site on the server. To change the server admin email, use the serveradmin-email shortcode.
